At the park. New “real” posts soon. Feeling better! (Taken with Instagram)
We didn’t get a chance to do too much for the Melbourne Food & Wine Festival, but we did stumble across a good afternoon to be in Fed Square. Starting with free hot dogs & ending with a free screening of Jiro Dreams of Sushi we got to spend the evening chilling in bean bags wondering why we can’t find moments like these as easily back home. *Sigh*

Had a great time catching up with my family this weekend. It was only one day with lots of driving but heading to Muskoka to pick up itsnomers & then drop off her brother at camp was well worth it. Love our fam jams, especially when they take us to pretty fun places like this.

Went shopping yesterday & this was hanging in the middle of my local(-ish) mall, Eatons Centre. Happy Canada Day!!

My brother shared this beautiful gem of Engrish with me last night.
“Really is inconceivable!”
I just love how this stainless steel soap explains itself so clearly. Tilt your head & have a laugh at the wonderful phrasing.

I saw this & I didn’t know whether to smile or cry.
“We were born in the North Pole. But my hometown is disappearing now.”
PS Owls & bunnies are born in the North Pole? hmmmm.

A few days ago I was finally able to go back & visit WDW. It’s almost been a year since I worked there & was so excited to go back. Decided to fit as much fun stuff as we could in a matter of one day. Also, two of us were celebrating Graduation & ended up with an impulse Mickey-earred grad caps. We got as many notices as we spent dollars on the caps & decided that that alone made it a worthy purchase.
So how do you celebrate Graduation & a Disney reunion? Ice-cream for Dinner!
If you haven’t gone to grab the “Kitchen Sink” of ice-cream at Beaches & Cream on the Disney Boardwalk, put it on your bucket list. Six scoops of ice-cream, a whole can of whipped cream, brownies, angel food cake, chocolate bars, Oreos, bananas, & a can of cherries! (The cherries were in a bowl themselves since I was the only one that wanted them. I think I ate twenty maraschino cherries that day…)

It was delicious & amazing! The plate of fries we grabbed were a good salty mix to the sink too. However, we ate a WHOLE lotta ice-cream & treats for three people. As you can see, we felt a little wonky afterwards.

Spent the day walking along Satellite Beach in Melbourne FL. Minutes after these pictures were taken, a wave came well above my knees with no warning. My butt was soaked! I almost lost my bag to a wave as well. Pretty strong ocean, but very fun the walk along.

Went to a Flea Market in/around Melbourne, FL today. Found a place for food & had two options. Deep fried Oreos or frog legs.
Guess which one we decided to eat? Seriously delicious & so worth the trip. I can see myself craving these again in a little while. The cookie gets cooked so well it becomes soft & gooey just like the icing. So so yummy.

PS Happy Easter Everyone!
Update: Somehow my older photos disappeared from tumblr. Here’s a new pic instead!
Can someone please explain to me what this means? It’s not red anymore, so it can’t mean stop. Come on Toronto, why don’t we paint a clearer picture?
Wings Night! Bring on the Black Mamba dipping sauce!
Hanging out with my GH school gang. Last time me & Spooner were here we took an epic pic closely resembling King Kong & Ann Darrow. This time it was a little more pleasant. Lifeguard meets King Kong. (I was prepared!)

I wish I remembered what this book was called. Definitely made me smile. Funny part is Bowie never helped Sara escape. Oh well. Guess they got the answer wrong either way.
