A while back, we saw the release of “Pegasus” and “All I Ever” - two gorgeous dust blown, dream pop tracks from Washington DC based, GEMS. Now, we have a listen to the B-Side from “All I Ever” in the jangly, hazy, “Never Age”. On this track, the band really flex some new muscles in that this track is a little more hook-driven in it’s upbeat delivery. It’s just another reason to be super excited for any and everything that this band is up to in the coming months.

PS I’ve still got plenty of stories & photos left from my last few weeks in Brisbane lined up share…
Here it is! What I’ve been working on all month. Why my hands are full of calluses, the reason my back is stiff, and why my eyes, may permanently, only see computer-length in front of me.
This is a music video for The Crickets Sing for AnaMaria by Universal Hall Pass.
I hand drew the images, then animated them in a series of different programs.
I would talk more about this right now, but I’m at the local library since my internet connection at home is kurfluffed, and my time is running out.
I’ll post some original drawings I did once my internet is fixed.

Been getting some much needed work done to sort out my travels, expenses, taxes & all that “real life” non-vacation stuff. Been listening to this & the rest of Washed Out’s album again & again at the same time. Months later & I’m still hooked on the build-up in this song.
