Hello Vancouver!
Spending the day roaming around like a crazy tourist. Loved waking up, stepping outside & seeing beautiful mountains this morning. So happy for the sunshine today.

I keep forgetting my phone has a great little picture gif on it. I normally don’t like gifs… but when it’s me I guess it’s different. Got one or two of the beautiful Great Ocean waves too.
This is just a bit of a sneak peak of what I got to see last week on our little 3 day tour. Lots of beautiful views! Now that I’m back to a place with decent internet, I have a lot of March to still catch up on before I get to the rest of this.

Time has been flying by & poor March has been wildly neglected; It’s time to play some catch-up!
The top souvenir on my list while in Australia is definitely the opal. Not only is it my birth stone, it’s also the national gemstone of Australia. 97% of the world’s opal comes from Australia! To learn a little more about it we headed off to The National Opal Collection & got a little history lesson alongside some dinosaurs.
The most we came out with were some photos of some beautiful opal displays & a little bit more knowledge. The strangest object display were what are called “Opal Pineapples” (bottom left)… They look a little more like sea urchins to me.
