It’s my birthday today & this was make cake last night. Barbie birthday cakes were what I grew up with & was craving the design & nostalgia this year. Making a bundt cake the barbie goes in the middle & the cake becomes the dress. Pretty simple & very fun.
I’m not sure how she ended up at Wonder Women (with a Green Lantern marking) but I guess she’s just dressed up for Halloween too. Unfortunately the “W” melted very badly.

I was chatting with my Best Friend the other day & she didn’t believe me when I told her Ken & Barbie had broken up for a good number of years. Yes, I do mean the plastic mattel dolls. I don’t know how we got on the topic but I do remember seeing the ads in February of this year when Barbie finally said, “yes”.
Mattel actually made press releases on the break-up in 2004 & the reconciliation in 2006, however they were still “just friends” until now. Geez! Even the Barbie world is complicated.
Anyways… if you didn’t know until now; Surprise! I leave you with a cheesy video of Ken finding his perfect match.
